515 Alive went off without a hitch once again this past weekend, pulling an estimated 10,000 people down to Western Gateway Park for two days of dancing and bass drops. The event might not be everyone’s cup of tea, but it stands as a lasting testament to the power of community-minded, deeply motivated people.

Hoyt Sherman Place has announced the addition of Band of Horses to its schedule, with a show scheduled for Tuesday, Nov 15. Tickets go on sale Friday, July 29 and are available through ticketmaster or at the Hoyt Sherman box office.

This week’s Pick o’ the Week is at Confluence Brewing Company on Thursday, July 28, where you can catch Dan Tedesco performing at 7 p.m. Admission is free, and there’s all the delicious beer you can drink, which is not free. Mahalo. CV
