Freebies all around

Cityview’s question of the week asks, “Should two years of community college tuition be free?” Why stop there? How about free food and housing for two years post high school, or just add two more years of optional high school? What about a free stipend for all for two years? Don’t forget free supplies, clothes, phone and transportation. All necessary in today’s world, correct? No problem paying for all this, just raise taxes on all working Americans. After all, if they didn’t want to pay for it, they wouldn’t have elected you, right?

Unhappy with great racks
Your paper’s “We’ve Got Great Racks” (advertisement) is completely and without a doubt sexist. Showing a woman in a low-cut, tight T-shirt with a lot of cleavage isn’t funny or clever. How would anyone be so blatantly unaware in this day and age? Maybe 30 years ago you might not have been aware, but since the 1970s, women and men have been addressing this. Grow up, get aware and read about feminism. And stop insulting your readers.
