The Des Moines City Council approved travel funding in the amount of $3,188 for Sgt. Kenneth Brown, of the Des Moines Police Department, to visit Baltimore, Maryland, from July 31 – Aug. 7 in order to attend the National Black Police Association – National Education and Training Conference.
