Travel

The Des Moines City Council approved travel funding in the amount of $1,913 for Detective Police Officer Jeremy Sprague to visit Columbia, Maryland, from June 2-6 in order to attend a course designed to become a certified International Critical Incident Stress Foundation (ICISF) and Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM) Instructor for the city. The course is designed to present the core elements of a comprehensive, systematic and multicomponent crisis intervention curriculum and help prepare participants to understand a wide range of crisis intervention services.
