Travel
The Des Moines City Council approved travel funding for Budget Analyst Joe Brandstatter to visit Las Vegas, Nevada, Feb. 15-17. Branstatter is to attend the Financial Research Associates’ Digital Policing Summit: Funding and Implementing New Technologies. The summit covers a variety of topics directly related to the purchase, roll out and changing technologies in the body-worn camera arena. The summit will provide real-world experiences shared by early adopters of BWC programs, evaluation of requests for proposals, detailed account of ongoing grant and funding opportunities available and learning about building community consensus.
