The Des Moines City Council approved travel funding for Deputy City Attorney Lawrence McDowell to visit Chicago, Illinois, from Sept. 1-4. McDowell will attend the 2015 Brownfields Conference, which is sponsored by the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
