Des Moines Arts Festival® features 40 films at Interrobang Film Festival

(Des Moines, IA) – The Des Moines Arts Festival presented by Nationwide has released the film line-up at the annual Interrobang Film Festival. The films will be screened inside the air-conditioned comfort of the Central Library (1000 Grand Ave., Des Moines), during the 25th anniversary Des Moines Arts Festival, June 24 – 26. The Interrobang Film Festival is open Friday, June 24, 11 a.m. – 6 p.m., Saturday, June 25, 11 a.m. – 7 p.m. and Sunday, June 26, 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. Admission to both festivals is free.
Interrobang will feature 40 juried films (17 hours 30 minutes’ worth) from a dozen states and seven countries. The schedule includes features films, student films, shorts, documentaries, web/tv shows, found footage films and music videos. It will also feature two notable panel discussions on Saturday, June 24. The first, Iowa Filmmakers Panel, will be hosted by Produce Iowa at 1 p.m. followed by a Des Moines Area Community College (DMACC) Student Showcase and Discussion at 2 p.m. The Produce Iowa Panelists are Hannah Wright, Lucius Pham, Rebecca Haroldson, and Scott Siepker. It will be moderated by EJ Philby Burton.
