Nashville’s hottest country newcomer, Chase Matthew, is set to bring his headline “Love You Again Tour” to Wooly’s in Des Moines on April 6. Opening act is Hayden Coffman. $20 cover.

Backstreet’s back — all right! Ready for an ultimate ’90s sing-along dance party? Catch Fool House, when they recreate the sights and sounds of ’90’s bands like the Spice Girls, Backstreet Boys, NSYNC, Nelly and more. The concert is May 5 at Wooly’s. $20 cover.

Korrupted Promotions presents, “End The Silence” at Lefty’s on May 5. Proceeds from the door are donated to the Iowa Coalition Against Domestic Violence. It features live performances from T-Bear, K.T. Izdope, Emmett Phillips, 2Tone 100, JBreed The Rebel & Jay Lively, Splashy G., Dynasti, Dirt Nasty Beats and Imma. DJ Bigg Ray West will be playing old school hip hop between sets. $15 at the door; 21 and over show. 

Eli Alger, a Dowling High School graduate and former wrestler, sang the national anthem at the NCAA Division I Wrestling finals in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
