Noce, the Max Wellman-run jazz and cabaret lounge, has announced the date and time for its grand opening celebration. The venue, located at 1326 Walnut St., will open its doors to the world on Dec. 31 when Noce hosts its first annual “Wild Party” New Year’s Eve celebration. The event will feature the Des Moines Big Band, Tina Haase Findlay and Wellman himself performing, along with burlesque, courtesy of Phoenix Lamour. This week’s Pick o’ the Week is at the Basement Bar on Wednesday, Nov. 18. Get downstairs at the Social Club at 7 p.m and check out Stutterin’ Jimmy & The Goosebumps, playing along with Grandchamp. Admission is $5 at the door, and the show is all ages. Mahalo. CV
