The Bone Thugs N Harmony show, originally scheduled for this Friday, Aug. 14, has been canceled. The band has announced no reason, and the Val Air Ballroom was unavailable before press time. No makeup date has been announced, and refunds are being given.

The Des Moines Metro Opera has received a grant of $150,000 from the Gardner & Florence Cowles Foundation to help run the Iowa Educational Touring Troupe for three years, beginning with the program’s 30th season in 2016.
