Earlier this week, Merle Haggard announced an October date in Ames. Haggard will be playing Stephens Auditorium on Oct. 6, which makes for an interesting month in the greater central Iowa area, with Haggard, Ryan Adams, James Taylor and Ani DiFranco all playing between Oct. 6 and Nov. 7. Tickets for Haggard’s show went on sale Friday and are available through Ticketmaster.
