Local artists have been selected for the “CarpeDM Music Mix” CD, a collection of music produced by the Greater Des Moines Partnership that includes Brother Trucker, Poison Control Center, Mary McAdams, The Uniphonics, Holy White Hounds, Chad Elliott, Bonne Finken, Dustin Smith, Gloom Balloon, Foxholes, Bright Giant, The Nadas, North of Grand, Mr. Baber’s Neighbors and Mighty Shady. The Iowa State Fair grandstand lineup has been finalized, including Goo Goo Dolls, Daughtry, Foreigner, Styx, Chevelle, Halestorm, Lady Antebellum, Billy Currington, Kelsey K, Florida Georgia Line, Jake Owen, Eli Young Band, Colt Ford, The Cadillac Three, Newsboys, Matthew West, Willie, Korie and Si Robertson from A&E’s “Duck Dynasty,” The Turtles featuring Flo and Eddie, Chuck Negron, Gary U.S. Bonds, Mitch Ryder & The Detroit Wheels and Gary Lewis & The Playboys. Tickets go on sale on April 12.
