SCANDALOUS AND VANDALOUS

A woman reported a burglary in her apartment at the 1300 block of York Street on July 15. After she came home from work at 7 p.m., she found her windows and door had been broken into and damage to drywall. There were no items found to be missing. The victim believed the culprits to be two girls she had had a confrontation with earlier in the day.

BUYING BAGGAGE

A man called police regarding numerous items stolen from an estate he acquired on East Wall. The crimes were suspected to have occurred sometime between July 11-15 but were discovered on July 15 around 5:30 p.m. Items stolen included: a flat screen TV, table, nebulizer and miscellaneous papers. The victim suspected that the burglar was a relative of the former homeowner.

COOKIE HURLER

Police were alerted to Quik Trip at the 1400 block of Ingersoll Avenue after a customer reportedly became unruly and aggressive when the clerk refused to sell him beer at 10:20 p.m. on July 14. The man threw a box of cookies at the clerk and was then apprehended by another customer and taken outside, while the employee pushed the alarm button. The man was arrested and charged with simple assault and public intoxication, registering at .162 on the breathalyzer. CV
