ROBBER AT LARGE

Investigations of a robbery at Valero convenience store, 3733 Easton Blvd., began around 5:30 p.m. on June 25 after a man demanded money from an employee at knife-point. The suspect fled from the business on foot after taking cash. Surveillance footage was collected. No suspects have been named.

TEEN ANGST

A 14-year-old male was arrested at the 2900 block of Boston Avenue after assaulting an officer, breaking a door handle and attempting to break a window. Officers were dispatched to the scene to break up the dispute, but the mother of the boy asked that he be taken into custody. As officers tried to calm him down, he reportedly did not listen and attempted to kick and hit both officers. The juvenile was arrested for an assault to a police officer and interference with official acts on July 1 at 6:15 p.m.

STICKIN’ IT TO THE MAN(AGER)

Police were called to a Burger King located at the 200 block of University Avenue after the restaurant manager said he was assaulted by an unruly customer. The victim reported to being grabbed and thrown over the hood of a car and landing on the ground after asking the suspect to leave the business on July 1 at 4 p.m. The man fled before officers arrived.

UNWHEELED

A man and his wife reported a burglary at the 600 block of 40th Street on July 1. The couple had been on vacation from June 15-July 1 and came home to find their garage had been broken into. The items stolen include two bikes and a lawn mower. The scene was unable to be processed because the victims had already touched the door and many other areas within the garage. CV
