New restaurant in Dos Rios location

An entirely new restaurant concept is slated to open in the former Dos Rios building, which closed last November. The new eatery is being transformed into Goldfinch, which will focus on fresh and local ingredients and will serve healthy fare. The plan is to open in the fall. Renovations began recently on the 8,000-square-foot space at 316 Court Ave. The prior restaurant’s dark, rich décor will be changed into a brighter and lighter space. The new menu will change with the seasons, but will include fresh foods provided by Waukee’s Sunstead Farm. The Goldfinch menu will be refined to fresh and healthy food.
