SCORE A TOUCHDOWN FOR YOUR COMMUNITY WITH LIFESERVE AND DRAKE ATHLETICS

JOHNSTON, IOWA (October 6, 2026) – Do you bleed blue? Show off your Drake Bulldog pride AND save lives in your community at our upcoming Bulldog Football Blood Drive at the Knapp Center on October 26, 2026, from 12 pm – 4 pm.

“Drake Football is proud to partner with LifeServe and host a blood drive on our campus at the Knapp Center,” said Drake Football Coach Matt Walker. “It’s a great opportunity to bring our community together and support an important cause that directly impacts people right here in Des Moines.”

Donors will not only have the ability to impact up to three lives, but they’ll also take home our exclusive “I Bleed Blue” t-shirt AND a free ticket to the Bulldog’s football game on November 7, 2026, versus San Diego. We’ll also be giving out special mystery prize boxes to Drake students, staff, and alumni. Plus, Drake football players and Coach Matt Walker will be on hand during the blood drive to take pictures and chat with donors.
