Polk County Awards $100,000 Community Development Grant to UNI@DMACC

The Polk County Board of Supervisors presented a $100,000 Community Development Grant to the UNI@DMACC Partnership during a press conference held on Tues., March 8, at the DMACC Urban Campus in Des Moines. The grant will help offset construction costs of the new UNI@DMACC Partnership office and learning space located inside the new Student Life & STEM Center at the DMACC Urban Campus.

The UNI@DMACC Partnership provides DMACC students with an opportunity to complete their four-year degree online from the University of Northern Iowa (UNI) without needing to relocate or leave Des Moines. To learn more, visit.
