Central Iowa Blues Society Announces SpringFest Lineup

The Second Annual SpringFest will be May 27, 2018. This free event a great way to kick-off the Memorial day weekend with great music in the family friendly atmosphere of the Jasper Winery, 2400 George Flagg Parkway in Des Moines. Beginning at 2 p.m. this year’s event will feature four acts from Iowa, Minnesota and Florida – including International Blues Challenge Winner Kevin “BF” Burt.

The acts performing for this year’s SpringFest are:

Ducharme-Jones Band (Iowa) 2–3 p.m.
Kevin “BF” Burt (Iowa) 3:30–5 p.m.
Paul Mayasich with Benderheads (Minnesota) 5:30–7 p.m.
Lauren Mitchell Band (Florida) 7:30–9 p.m.

Bring your blankets and lawn chairs, enjoy the music, relax, and unwind with wines from Jasper Winery, beer from Madhouse Brewing, BBQ as well as other food vendors. (In accordance with state law, any alcohol must be purchased from the winery – attendees are not allowed to bring in their own.)
