Cornerstone Community CCU Cool Car Show

Cornerstone Community Credit Union, along with support of The Iowa Street Rod Association and the Za-Ga-Zig Shrine, Altoona is hosting an “any make, any model, any year, cool car show on May 21, 2017 from 8am to 2pm at Cornerstone Community Credit Union, 414 61^st St, Des Moines, IA. Proceeds to help local families get to the Shriner’s Hospital.

Proceeds of the event will go to the Za-Ga-Zig Shrine who desperately need our help and support as they transport, at no cost to the families, local children up to age 18, to and from the Shriner’s Hospital as well as help the families with travel and lodging so they can stay with their children and concentrate on the recovery process. This is where the community can step in and help your friends and neighbors receive the care they need.

The Shrine is best known for its colorful participation in parades, its distinctive red fez, and its official philanthropy, the Shriners Hospitals for Children, which is often called “The Heart and Soul of the Shrine.” The mission of the Za-Ga-Zig Shrine, located in Altoona, is to support The Shriner’s Hospitals for Children and to enhance the quality of life for children.
