Some viewers may find themselves yearning for a more resolved ending that ties up loose ends and provides a sense of closure. (After all, not a single plot point is resolved in this installment, leaving this reviewer wondering if he should have waited until March 2024 to watch when the third film is expected to be released so he could have some resolution.) 

Despite this, the film’s strengths outweigh its shortcomings. The action-packed sequences, emotional depth, and captivating visuals make “Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse” a worthy addition to the Spider-Man franchise. It pushes boundaries, breaks conventions, and invites viewers of all ages to embark on an exhilarating and emotional journey.
