“Ice Cream Man” is an upcoming horror film directed by Eli Roth that transforms a familiar suburban summer into a gruesome nightmare. Set in the seemingly peaceful town of Bayleen Bay, the story follows the arrival of a mysterious ice cream man (Ari Millen) whose frozen treats have horrifying effects on the local children. After eating the ice cream, the kids become violently homicidal, plunging the community into chaos as parents, teachers and neighbors struggle to understand — and survive — the escalating bloodshed.

The bizarre substance grants them telepathic abilities — allowing them to communicate with each other (and, in a surreal twist, with their cats) — while also making them targets of dangerous criminals and eccentric scientists desperate to recover the drug. Blending stoner comedy, absurdist sci-fi and crime caper elements, “The Wrong Girls” centers on the friendship between its two leads as they navigate increasingly outrageous situations with humor and heart.

As he becomes increasingly captivated by the group’s attention — and especially by the charismatic actress Gloria (Greta Lee) — he begins to question whether their admiration is genuine or simply another form of artistic posturing.
