Fall Arts & Entertainment- Music

8/21/2013

Think life is over just because summer is ending and the fair is gone? Think again, my friends. Summer’s wane just means it is time to roll out the autumn fun: The kids are back in school, back sweat is a thing of the past and soon there will be that intoxicating nip in the evening air. Also, plenty of music is on tap to see you through, as the brisk autumn evenings transition into winter’s snowy chill. The Des Moines metro area and its neighbors down the interstates offer dozens of venues for live, cheap (or free) entertainment. So grab a warm cider and make some new friends. Let these creative talents supply the soundtrack that takes you into a new year.
