The Summer Sundaze at Jamie Hurd Amphitheater offer free concerts starting at 6 p.m. June 23, Standing Hampton; June 30, Guitarras ATM; and July 7, Stark Raving Madge. Wellman’s Pub & Rooftop has music Sundays from 4-7 p.m. On June 9, Chris Powell; June 16, Brittany Sword Duo and June 23, Bittersweet Band.
Take a short drive to Madrid’s Cellar Winery for more Sunday music, with free admission, starting at 2 p.m. On June 9, Burnin’ Sensations; June 16, Bob Pace Band; and June 23, Oreo Meatwagon.
Want to get a bike ride and music in at the same time? The Des Moines Biergarten is back for the season, offering live music at Water Works Park. Sundays feature Local Bands, Brews and Bikes from 1-3 p.m. On June 9, 10 Watt Robot; June 16, Drama Kings; June 23, Neva Alden and June 30, Nola Jazz Trio. ♦
