The Des Moines Symphony has announced 25-year-old Jared McCarty from Bussey as the winner of this year’s “Oh Say Can You Sing?” competition. McCarty will perform the National Anthem with the Des Moines Symphony at the 20th annual Yankee Doodle Pops concert on July 3 at the Iowa State Capitol.
