This event aims not only to delight palates but also to strengthen the sense of community and pride in our roots. It is an opportunity for families, friends, and lovers of fresh, multicultural food to come together and share the flavors that unite us.
It is a time to enjoy with the whole family, support our local restaurant community, and discover our roots through the traditional flavors of each cuisine. It is also an important opportunity to recognize the contribution restaurant owners make to Iowa’s economic development.
“We invite businesses and organizations across Iowa to join us as sponsors and help us continue our mission to educate, strengthen, and support Latino restaurants in our state. This celebration is an invitation to honor not only our food, but also the effort, passion, and talent behind every Latino restaurant in Iowa,” said Giovanna Rodríguez, Director of the Iowa Latino Hospitality Council.
We thank our sponsors, Atlantic Coca-Cola Bottling Company, Cityview, Sazerac-Johnson Brothers, Performance Food Group, and the Iowa Restaurant Association, for making it possible for this initiative to celebrate entrepreneurship in the restaurant industry and Latino culinary talent.
