Join the Winterset Cidery for “Decades On The Orchard” on Oct. 17. The Winterset orchard located offers a stage beneath open skies with concert music from the oldies to classic rock, to 1990s alt to early2000s. Each set promises to “take you back and keep you dancing.” Bands include Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, Not Quite Brothers and Emo Kids. Tickets are $30. Congratulations to Des Moines area musicians Standing Hampton and Damon Dotson, who were inducted into the 2026 Iowa Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame. Blues and rock musician Bob Pace received a Lifetime Achievement Award. Local “admitted” band groupie, Valerie Kane, was presented with the Spirit Award. Formerly known as Summer Sundays, Autumn at the Amphitheater brings free live music to the Jamie Hurd Amphitheater in West Des Moines on Sundays. On Oct. 4, catch the Weary Ramblers; Oct. 11 is Standing Hampton. ♦
