Ready for some action at Wells Fargo Arena? Correction: make that Casey’s Center. As of July 1, Casey’s Center is the official name of the arena formerly known as Wells Fargo. Check out country star Jason Aldean’s Full Throttle tour on Sept. 19. Opening acts include Nate Smith, Raelynn and Dee Jay Silver. Tickets run from $44 to $213, plus fees at www.hyveetix.com.  

The Midwest All-Music Association honored Craig Cronbaugh, a professional drummer, with a scholarship in his name. This scholarship provides a middle school drumming student $500 to use for private lessons outside of school, equipment purchases or to attend a band camp. Head over to Camp Dodge in Johnston for the Iowa National Guard’s sponsored concerts. The concerts begin at 7 p.m. and are open to the public. On July 15, the Nadas perform. On July 29, catch Standing Hampton.

On Wednesday evenings, head downtown to a new urban development near Gray’s Lake. Gray’s Station, 469 S.W. 12th St., offers live music and food trucks, starting at 6 p.m. On July 23, the June Bugs DSM performs.
