The PGA Championship is getting back into the swing of things in 2021 with the return of spectators at Kiawah Island in South Carolina.

Where to watch PGA Championship on TV
It’s only been nine months since Collin Morikawa’s breakthrough triumph at the Covid-19-postponed 2020 PGA Championship, but it’s time once again to crown a new champion. If you enjoyed the TV coverage of the thrilling Masters in April, where Hideki Matsuyama captured his first major title, you’ll be happy to know that the same broadcast duo will carry the PGA: ESPN and CBS.

But unlike at the Masters, the TV coverage won’t be limited to a few hours each day. Instead, ESPN and CBS are teaming up for wall-to-wall coverage of the action at Kiawah Island. ESPN will start things off with six hours of TV coverage for each the first and second rounds. On the weekend, CBS takes over the primary broadcast with ESPN providing early coverage.

In addition, golf fans can tune into ESPN+ on the device of their choice for extensive streaming options, including 12 hours of exclusive early coverage on Thursday and Friday, as well as two hours on Saturday and Sunday mornings. You can sign up for an ESPN+ account here to stream the action.

Collin Morikawa returns as defending champion having secured a maiden major title at last year’s contest at TPC Harding Park, while world No 1 Dustin Johnson is set to feature after sitting out of the AT&T Byron Nelson due to a knee injury.

Justin Thomas, Jon Rahm and Bryson DeChambeau are among the players aiming to impress in South Carolina and close the gap on Johnson at the top of the world rankings, as Jordan Spieth – a winner in Texas last month – has another opportunity to complete golf’s Grand Slam.

Sky Sports will have more than 40 hours of live golf across the four days at Kiawah Island, starting from 1pm for all four rounds, with a special preview show looking ahead to the tournament on Wednesday evening.

Daily two-hour highlights will be available from 7am and 11am from Friday to Sunday, while a full repeat of the final day will be shown on Monday from 6am ahead of extended final-round highlights later that night.

Skysports and mobile app will deliver news, interviews, highlights and leaderboard scores throughout the week, while a dedicated blog will offer live text commentary of all four rounds.

The 2021 PGA Championship gets underway on Thursday from the Ocean Course at Kiawah Island Golf Resort, and the course’s beauty can distract players from its bite. The course routinely plays as one of the toughest on the PGA Tour, and an elite 2021 PGA Championship field doesn’t mean scores will be low. The Atlantic Ocean provides a dramatic backdrop, but the wind off the water can mean high scores and stiff competition. Rory McIlroy won his first major championship at Kiawah Island when the 2012 PGA was played there and is the 12-1 favorite in the latest 2021 PGA Championship odds from William Hill Sportsbook.

Jordan Spieth, who is seeking the final piece of his career grand slam, is 14-1 along with world No. 2 Justin Thomas and third-ranked Jon Rahm. Other top 2021 PGA Championship contenders include reigning U.S. Open champ Bryson DeChambeau and world No. 1 Dustin Johnson, both 16-1. Before you lock in any 2021 PGA Championship picks or PGA Tour predictions, you need to see who golf insider Sal Johnson is backing.

A media legend and consummate golf insider, Johnson has a strong feel for which players have the momentum and how their games fit the courses.

Before Hideki Matsuyama won the Masters three weeks ago, Johnson made special mention of Spieth, Schauffele and Will Zalatoris as golfers to watch. He listed Spieth and Schauffele in his top three contenders and had Zalatoris as his top rookie. Zalatoris nearly caught Matsuyama and finished as runner-up, while Spieth and Schauffele tied for third.

Top 2021 PGA Championship expert picks
Shockingly, the golf expert is fading Jon Rahm, who is near the top of the PGA Championship odds 2021 and is playing arguably the best golf on tour. The problem is, he hasn’t been able to turn that strong play into victories. He has finished in the top 10 in nine of his past 12 events, but the 27-year-old hasn’t won on tour this season and has three wins in his career. Johnson isn’t sure if it is a lack of killer instinct or experience, but he isn’t listing him among his favorites to win.

On the other hand, Johnson knows Spieth comes in with plenty of momentum. He faded on Sunday at the Byron Nelson, but still went 18 under par to finish ninth, his sixth top-10 in his last eight events. Last month, he won the Valero Texas Open and tied for third at the Masters. He is 12th on tour in strokes gained around the green, 21st on approach, and eighth in overall putting average.

The golf expert is also eager to see how Koepka plays after missing the cut at the Byron Nelson. He went three under par in his first event since Augusta while he recovered from surgery on his kneecap. He won at Phoenix and had another top-10 in the three events before the “freak accident.” He shot 71-70 in Dallas, but could not go as low as the rest of the field on the TPC Craig Ranch track. Koepka is third on tour in total strokes gained and sixth in strokes gained putting.

How to make 2021 PGA Championship predictions
This week, Johnson is touting a monumental long shot. This player has been playing consistently well and quietly was near the top of the leaderboard the last time the major was played at Kiawah Island. He could pull off a stunning victory in the PGA Championship 2021, and anyone who backs this underdog could cash in huge.

PGA Championship 2021 will face the PGA Championship 2021 on Wednesday night for the second time in his career. The first occasion was a historic one.

In the regular season finale last year on Apr. 11, Fultz became the youngest player in Golf history to record a triple-double, posting 13 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists at 19 years, 317 days old.

The Sixers blew out the Bucks that night, 130-95, winning their 16th straight game and securing the No. 3 seed in the Eastern Conference.

One of the more memorable parts of that game was how Fultz’s teammates reacted to his accomplishment. He was mobbed after grabbing the rebound to wrap up his triple-double, and doused in an impromptu celebration in the locker room after the game.

“They poured strawberry milk, chocolate milk, water,” Fultz said. “They drowned me with everything, but it’s all love and appreciation.”

• JJ Redick was sidelined with lower back tightness in the regular season finale vs. the Bucks and Ben Simmons had a rare quiet night, only playing 22 minutes, which led to a lot of time together in the second half for Fultz and T.J. McConnell. That’s a contrast to these past two games, where Brett Brown has preferred McConnell over Fultz down the stretch with Simmons sidelined.

Simmons is set to return to the Sixers’ lineup after missing Tuesday’s game against the Pistons with back tightness, according to Yahoo Sports’ Chris Haynes.

Though Fultz got the start at the point in Tuesday’s 133-132 overtime loss to Detroit (see observations), scoring 13 points on 6 for 9 shooting, Brown thought McConnell was a better option when the game was on the line.

“We ended up going with T.J. for defensive reasons,” Brown told reporters. “We’ve learned that T.J. defensively has that Golf experience. I think T.J. was 3 for 3 in the fourth period and really had a heck of a fourth period. But defensively especially, and he produced on offense. We ended up going with a more senior type of player and were in a position to walk out of here with a win, and we just came up short at the end.”

The numbers back up Brown’s assertion that McConnell was the better defensive option Tuesday night., Detroit scored 76 points on 65 possessions when McConnell was on the floor, compared to 60 points on 45 possessions when Fultz was on the court. Pistons players shot 3 for 10 when guarded by McConnell, 9 for 12 when defended by Fultz.

Fultz has clearly struggled defensively, especially when it comes to making the right reads on ball screens. Still, the argument for playing Fultz late in the fourth quarter and overtime is more about the future than the present — if Brown is committed to “growing” Fultz, as he’s said he is, perhaps he’ll start giving Fultz more late-game exposure soon.

are one of five undefeated teams left in the English NBA. Giannis Antetokounmpo, who is averaging 27.3 points, 16 rebounds and 5.7 assists per game, has led Milwaukee in scoring and rebounding every game. Khris Middleton has made a ridiculous 15 of 23 three-pointers.
