Cork won the 2020 All-Ireland Under-20 title by beating Dublin in the final at Nowlan Park in Kilkenny early last month.
The young Rebels have a quick turnaround since then.
Ten days after winning the All-Ireland, Pat Ryan’s men were in action in this year’s Munster semi-final against Tipperary at Semple Stadium.
Cork triumphed on a scoreline of 2-17 to 3-20.
That paved the way for what was effectively an All-Ireland semi-final and Munster final double against Limerick at Páirc Uí Chaoimh.
Cork led by six points with eight minutes to play before having that lead wiped out going into injury-time.
The Rebels landed two late points though, with Darragh Flynn leading the Rebel scoring on 0-12 and withstood a late Treaty barrage to retain the J. J. Kenneally Perpetual Memorial Cup.
Opponents in the national final are Galway who overcame Kilkenny and Dublin, both by three point margins to reach this stage.

Despite a hectic schedule, that is more than enough time for young legs to prepare and a closely matched classic is likely to ensue.
Where is the game and what time is throw-in?
The game is this coming Wednesday, August 18th at Semple Stadium in Thurles with a 7:30pm throw-in.
The match had been scheduled for Tuesday evening at the same time but was put back 24 hours due to restrictions surrounding Covid-19.
The match was initially re-scheduled after a Covid outbreak in the Cork squad and resulting determinations of close contacts by the Health Service Executive, left them unable to fulfil the original fixture.
Tickets for the match are available to buy at the following link:
There will be no replay.
If the scores are level after 60 minutes there will be 20 minutes of extra-time, followed by a shoot-out if 80 minutes of action fails to separate the teams.
Will the game be live on TV and radio?
The match will be live on TG4 with Micheál Ó Domhnaill presenting coverage from 7:15pm on the Irish language station.
Live updates from the match will also be on C103 radio and Radio Na Gaeltachta.
