[BoX-livE] Canelo vs Saunders live stream: How to watch super middleweight fight online and on TV

May 8

It’s fight day!

The WBC, WBA, and WBO super-middleweight titles are all on the line when Canelo Alvarez (55-1-2, 37 KOs) takes on Billy Joe Saunders (30-0, 14 KOs) in a unification matchup. Canelo has the WBC and WBA belts, whereas Saunders has the WBO belt. More than 70,000 fans are expected to attend this event at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, the largest sports event in the United States during this COVID-19 pandemic, which we should remind everyone is still actually going on.

Canelo is considered by many to be the best pound-for-pound boxer in the world. He’s won titles at junior middleweight, middleweight, and even light heavyweight, but super-middleweight (168 lbs) figures to be the division where he could become undisputed champion. Saunders is talkative, boisterous, controversial, and indeed he even caused a ring size stir this week, but he’s also a damn good boxer who previously laid claim to a share of the middleweight landscape. The Englishman is defensive minded with a slick style of boxing, whereas the Mexican superstar can seemingly do it all.

Here are the details on tonight’s card, including the start time, bout order, and live stream information.
