Travel

The Des Moines City Council approved travel funding for Nekesha Palmer, human rights specialist, to visit Washington, D.C., from Aug. 15-22 to attend training at the National Fair Housing Academy. The training is required by HUD, and it will provide guidelines on how to conduct a comprehensive, fair and ethical housing investigation. This comes at a cost of $3,505.63 to taxpayers. CV
