The Des Moines City Council approved the funding of travel expenses for Public Works Operations Manager Moussa Pepouna ($2,223) and Street Maintenance Administrator Sara Thies ($1,905) to visit Grand Rapids, Michigan, from April 12-15. Both will attend the 2015 American Public Works Association Snow Conference, which offers a comprehensive view of available snow and ice solutions.
