The Des Moines City Council recently approved Planning Administrator Michael Ludwig to travel to San Diego, Calif., from Feb. 19-22, to attend the American Planning Association’s Planners Training Service Workshop, “Sustainable Zoning and Development Controls.” The training workshop covers innovative case studies and best practices for planning a sustainable community. This comes at a $1,294.58 cost to local taxpayers. CV
