Pancake stacks in Ankeny
4/17/2017The Ankeny American Legion Albaugh-McGovern Post 42 is hosting its Annual Pancake Day Breakfast on Saturday, April 29 from 8-11 a.m. at the Legion Post building — 521 S.W. Third St.
The event will accept freewill donations to be used to support the work of the Ankeny Legion Post.
Some of the Legion’s efforts to help the community include: support for veterans helping veterans, high school scholarships, Dollars for Scholars, Boy Scouts, Cub Scouts, Color Guard for funerals and community events, and Memorial Day observances.
The American Legion Albaugh-McGovern Post 42 is located at 521 S.W. Third St. in Ankeny.
