There is more good stuff coming to you courtesy of Hoyt Sherman Place. Last week, the venerable Sherman Hill venue announced the addition of “The Fab Four: The Ultimate Tribute” to its schedule. The Beatles tribute show will come to the venue on Sunday, Sept. 25 at 7 p.m. Tickets went on sale on June 24 and are available through Ticketmaster and the Hoyt Sherman Box Office.

On July 8, Lefty’s is hosting another benefit for local music favorite Jimi Scribner, who is engaged in a lingering battle with cancer. The lineup includes Stutterin’ Jimmy & The Goosebumps, Slopsycle, The Maw, The Jeff Banks Band, Switchblade Saturdays, As For You, Slyde and Calous. There’s a suggested donation of $10, and there will be food and good karma galore.

This week’s Pick o’ the Week is at Gas Lamp where you can check out William J. Locker playing along with Luke Fox on Friday, July 1. Admission to the gig will set you back $7, and the party starts at 9 p.m. Mahalo. CV
