Sound Notes

Slipknot front man Corey Taylor underwent back surgery last week, which will keep him sidelined through the originally scheduled start of Slipknot’s summer tour. To accommodate the recovery time, the first 12 dates of the tour have been rescheduled, pushing the start of the tour back to June 28 in Nashville. The band’s Des Moines stop on Aug. 5 at Wells Fargo Arena remains blissfully unaffected.
