A couple of classic rock icons are making a swing through Des Moines next summer. Journey and The Doobie Brothers have announced a Des Moines stop for their joint tour on Aug. 7, 2016. Tickets went on sale last Friday and are available at The Wells Fargo box office or at www.hy-veetix.com. In a separate announcement, The Beach Boys are swinging through the city, with a show scheduled for May 15 at the Civic Center. Those tickets went on sale Dec. 7, and range in price from $45-$85.
