Des Moines will soon be home to a new jazz club. Des Moines jazz vocalist Max Wellman will be overseeing the operation of Noce, a club that is set to occupy space at 1326 Walnut St. While a firm open date is still dependant upon renovations to the space being completed, Wellman says the goal is to be open in time for the holidays. Once open, Wellman will be a regular performer at the space in addition to acting as entertainment director and general manager.
