Jonny Lang announced a show at Hoyt Sherman Place for Aug. 23, and tickets went on sale this past Friday. Available through Ticketmaster, tickets will run $56-$63.

Tickets are also on sale for the Civic Music Association’s 91st season. Performances include Gregory Porter, Cecile McLorin and Calmus, with individual tickets being available through www.midestix.com, at the Civic Music Association’s box office at the Des Moines Social Club, or by calling 280-4020.

Local rockers Peace Love & Stuff are heading to Nashville in August to play the Ink & Iron Music Festival. Headliners include Reverend Horton Heat, Wanda Jackson and the Misfits.
