The Iowa State Fair continues to roll out its Grandstand acts for this year’s edition. Latest to be added to the list: “All About That Bass” singer Meghan Trainor. Trainor will take to the stage on Saturday, Aug. 22, with opening act and ticket prices still to be determined as of this printing. Starting next month, Des Moines’ classical music fans will have to adjust the presets on their radios. Iowa Public Radio Classical will be moving down the dial from its current 101.7 frequency to 97.7 FM. Target date for the move is April 7, but if it happens before that, safe money says you’ll notice.
