Local jazz singer Max Wellman is releasing a new album in February coinciding with his Valentine’s Day show at the Des Moines Social Club’s Basement Bar. Tickets to the event are limited due to the bar’s small space and are available now at www.maxwellmanmusic.com. The album, titled “Just in Time,” will be available at the show for $10.

This week’s Pick o’ the Week is at Wooly’s on Sunday, Jan. 25, as James Biehn releases his self-titled debut album.
