The Greater Des Moines Botanical Garden has kicked off its annual Botanical Blues music series this month. Held every Sunday through January and February, Botanical Blues features performances from some of central Iowa’s best blues musicians. This season’s lineup was kicked off on Jan. 5 by Matt Woods, and future shows include Cindy Grill and Alan Smith, Bella Soul and Bob Pace.
