 Assault causing injury

Police were dispatched to Grandview Avenue and Bowdoin Street around 9:45 p.m. on April 21 regarding a report of men fighting in the middle of the street. One man told police he was driving by a group of pedestrians when one of the them yelled for him to slow down. He pulled over at his friend’s house on the same block, and the guy on the corner was still yelling at him. They got into a fight and the suspect called for his friends to help jump him, he said. But, witnesses told police it was the driver who was the aggressor, pushing him and yelling, “Bring it, bitch,” and that he was also much bigger than the man on the corner. One said the “little guy” even appeared scared and ran away. No arrests were made.
