Iowa Wild’s fifth-anniversary season begins in one month


The Iowa Wild, proud American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate of the NHL’s Minnesota Wild, announced on Tuesday that single-game tickets for the team’s fifth anniversary season go on sale to the general public on Tuesday, Sept. 12 at 10 a.m.

Fans may purchase single-game tickets multiple ways, either through the team’s website –, the Wells Fargo Arena box office or participating Hy-Vee food stores. Tickets are available online at under the single game tickets tab. The Wells Fargo Arena box office is open Monday – Friday from 10 a.m. – 5:30 p.m., Saturdays from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. and closed on Sunday. For Sunday game days the box office will open at 12 p.m. Fans may also purchase tickets by calling 1-844-55-HYVEE or by visiting participating Hy-Vee food stores locations in the greater Des Moines area. In order to purchase group tickets (10 or more), please call the Iowa Wild ticketing department at 515-564-8700. Children over the age of two (2) must have a ticket to gain entrance to the game. Fans interested in buying full season, or smaller season packages may call the Iowa Wild front office at 515-564-8700.

The Iowa Wild plays a pair of preseason games, both will be in North Dakota against the Manitoba Moose – the Winnipeg Jets AHL club. Iowa and Manitoba meet at the Ralph Engelstad Arena in Grand Forks, ND on Friday. Sept. 29 at 7 p.m. The two teams will play a second preseason game at the Scheels Arena in Fargo, ND on Saturday. Sept. 30 at 7 p.m. Iowa hosts the Green-White scrimmage at Wells Fargo Arena on Wednesday, Sept. 27 at 6 p.m.

Fans may purchase seats to see any of the team’s 38 regular season home games at Wells Fargo Arena. Season tickets to see the Wild play its 2017-18 season at Wells Fargo Arena start at just $10 per game.
