Party of Blue Jays to be held April 22

4/14/2017

BONDURANT, Iowa – (March 2017) – The Bondurant-Farrar Education Foundation’s sixth annual Party of Blue Jays will be held Saturday, April 22, in the Sukup End Zone Club at Jack Trice Stadium in Ames, Iowa. This promises to be a “FANtastic event” that will help to fund academic, fine arts and athletic needs for students in grades K-12.

Attendees are encouraged to wear their favorite team’s gear and support Bondurant-Farrar Schools. The evening’s activities include: a silent and live auction, games, dinner and the popular dessert auction. Silent auction package values range from $20 to $200, so there is something for everyone. The live auction will be highlighted by a SWAT team chase, Fine Arts VIP package, Chicago Cubs weekend, and a trip to Los Angeles to watch the ESPY Awards. M.C. for the evening will be sure to entertain, more to come so stay tuned.

The money raised at the Party of Blue Jays helps teachers complete their classroom needs lists, provides updated equipment for fine arts classes and athletic teams, allows students to go on field trips and so much more. In 2016, the Party of Blue Jays distributed more than $140,000 to projects and programs within the district. 100% of the profits are returned to the school and its students.

The Party of Blue Jays is organized by the Bondurant-Farrar Education Foundation Board, PTO and Fine Arts and Athletics Boosters and is in its sixth year. For more information, visit https://bref.ejoinme.org/pbj.
