‘South of Heaven’

“South of Heaven” features Jason Sudeikis as Jimmy, a man who receives early parole after an armed robbery. Upon his release, he vows to give his girlfriend, Annie, who is dying of cancer, the best last year of her life. But things are never that simple, and when he is given a “side job” from his parole officer, it sets off a series of events that leaves Jimmy in the crosshairs of a local crime boss. Now, he must stop at nothing to save Annie and fight for whatever time they have left. However, Sudeikis is thrown into the world of crime once more, which puts him at odds with his parole officer (Whigham) and a crime boss (Colter).

But when Michael manages to free himself from Laurie’s trap, his ritual bloodbath resumes. As Laurie fights her pain and prepares to defend herself against him, she inspires all of Haddonfield to rise up against their unstoppable monster. The Strode women join a group of other survivors of Michael’s first rampage who decide to take matters into their own hands, forming a vigilante mob that sets out to hunt Michael down, once and for all. ♦
