Another issue to Relish
Welcome to Relish, Central Iowa’s
guide to food and fine dining.
We hope that you are catching
on to our change in this publication
by now. With this being our third
issue of combining our popular
Relish magazine into the cover
story of Cityview, we have created
an even greater following of readers
who define themselves as foodies.
Relish, in combination with our
weekly Cityview Bites section,
provides readers with information
and listings to serve appetites
of all kinds and ages. And we
are proud to provide Central Iowa’s
only independent guide with such
in-depth coverage.
I continue to offer accolades
to our food critic, Jim Duncan,
who has written much of the content
for this edition. We have appropriately
donned Jim with the title of Food
Dude, which is also the title
of his weekly column in Cityview.
He, along with Michael Swanger,
Jared Curtis and Matt Miller,
bring a devotion to the local
dining scene that it appropriately
deserves, and that fits so well
in our efforts with Relish. In
this issue, you will find stories
on holiday feasts, the business
of eating, sweets, French birds,
Iowa gifts, a feature on Andrew
Zimmern and our ever-popular dining
gossip column, The Dish.
