The old ball and chain

We admit it. Sometimes the mix of content in Cityview is eclectic. And this week is a prime example.

Reporter Jared Curtis takes us inside the Des Moines Police Department with a look at four days of alleged criminal activity and the perpetrators in this week’s cover story. As you can see by our cover, this story is packed with photos and provides a “snapshot” of the people involved in the numerous arrests in our city in such a short time frame. We hope this story provides a different perspective of crime in Des Moines and details the range of people and criminal acts that our 381 police officers deal with on a regular basis.

And now to the other end of the spectrum, as our Bride’s Guide publishes in the center 12 pages this week. This copy provides some tips and ideas to those who are soon to exchange their marital vows, even sharing some memorable wedding “oops” moments that you surely will want to avoid.
