Blame
it on Moses
We know you like lists. We do,
too. And although lists have become
popular ways of sharing information
(VH1 ring a bell?), the format
is nothing new. We think a guy
named Moses actually started the
trend about 3,500 years ago with
these two tablets he brought down
from a mountain. This issue of
Cityview is certainly not the
10 Commandments, but we do think
you will find it to be another
great read.
This is our second annual “Records
and Rankings” issue, an edition
focused on lists of local information.
We are not strangers to raw data,
as our staff sifts through mountains
of information each week for our
“Rap Sheet” and “It’s Your Money”
features alone. Last year, we
decided to compile a chunk of
the interesting — but unused —
data into one issue. We admit
it; we went a bit overboard. So,
this time around, we decided to
condense the data by editing it
down to what we felt would be
the most interesting and appealing
to each of you.
Fed up with high gas prices?
With gas prices going through
the roof, we decided to provide
you with a few options on how
you can save money at the pump.
In this five-page section, you
will find ideas on how to maintain
your car efficiently, what fuel
efficient cars you can buy and
some alternative transportation
options.
Thanks for reading.
