Mountain Dew and Accelerate360’s ASN: The Adventure Sports Network Group announced today its primary partners for next weekend’s Dew Tour skateboard competition and festival to be held at Lauridsen Skatepark in Des Moines, May 20-23. MTN DEW returns as the presenting partner, along with lead partners Toyota, TikTok, Catch Des Moines, Polk County Conservation, Tech Deck, Hy-Vee and Casey’s.

More than 300 of the world’s top male and female skateboarders will compete in individual Park and Street events for a chance to win the Dew Tour title, while earning valuable points toward their country’s Olympic skateboarding team. As in the past, Dew Tour competitors exemplify the best in each sport. Partners will be located throughout the Dew Tour Experience, a festival-style area that will be spread throughout 2nd Avenue between Center Street and School Street in Des Moines. The Dew Tour Experience will offer a large, socially distanced and safe area for fans to enjoy fun and free event partner activations as well as a public skate pump track.

MTN DEW, the founding partner of Dew Tour since its inception in 2005, will continue to be the front and center partner at Dew Tour Experience this year. The MTN DEW Skate Through experience invites fans to skate or walk through their event tent to pick up free branded sunglasses, koozies, tote bags and MTN DEW samples all weekend. Additionally, branded MTN DEW bicycles will cruise around downtown Des Moines throughout the event weekend to hand out ice cold cans of Dew to visitors and fans. Media will have exclusive access to MTN DEW athletes during a virtual meet and greet on Thursday, May 20.

The partnership includes entitlement of Dew Tour’s first-ever adaptive skateboard competitions, including men’s Park and men’s and women’s Street events.
